We're a couple of unashamed coffee junkies. For the past three years our consumption of coffee, along with croissants, chocolate and red wine has sky rocketed. It all goes with the territory of being a new parent.
And in the general scheme of things, the dealing with toddler tantrums, the constant battle with feeding, the potty training, the incessant shortage of sleep, enjoying coffee might not seem like such a big deal. But to millions of parents out there with young children, that exquisite moment of enjoying a quick espresso hit is in fact a big deal. It's a moment we work towards and cherish.
Over the years we'd become fed up with paying upwards of £2.30 a go for flavourless and regularly lukewarm coffee from high street outlets and so decided to join the revolution and buy a Nespresso machine which we've been delighted with ever since.
So when last week we were asked if we'd like to receive a sample of coffee from Big Cup Little Cup, a company producing Nespresso-compatible coffee capsules, we weren't going to say no.
Things we liked about BIG CUP LITTLE CUP
The coffee aroma released when we drop the capsules into our machine. We likened the taste of Millers Yard Espresso and Gulliver's Finest to cafetiere prepared coffee, which pleased us. Free delivery on all orders over £25. The ease of ordering coffee online. The online chart helping customers select their favourite flavours and styles. (The Big Cup Little Cup Nespresso® compatible coffee collection)
Our days of regularly looking nervously at our dwindling supply of coffee capsules are over with Big Cup Little Cup's easy online ordering service. We will definitely use Big Cup Little Cup in the future.
Disclosure: We were sent ten samples of Millers Yard Espresso and Gulliver's Finest (Lungo) for the purposes of this review. No other form of compensation was received.
